Recreation camps
Challenge yourself, develop your leadership skills, be independent, have fun and explore the state of Victoria all at the same time by staying at one of Sport and Recreation Victoria’s camping venues.
In partnership with the 
YMCA , Sport and Recreation Victoria operate and manage five recreation camps throughout Victoria:
- Anglesea Recreation Camp (Anglesea)
- Camp Manyung (Mt Eliza)
- Howmans Gap Alpine Centre (Falls Creek)
- Lady Northcote Recreation Camp (Bacchus Marsh)
- Mt Evelyn Recreation Camp (Mt Evelyn)
The camps are located in various environments, from coastal to alpine. They cater for large and small groups, and offer educational, sporting and community groups a residential setting with catering and a range of outdoor and indoor activities. The partnership between the YMCA and Sport and Recreation Victoria enables the camps to continually improve their operations to meet the needs of their clients.
Fully qualified staff are available to supervise activities, and can take care of organising and programming the camp. The venues may also be able to provide for training requirements for the visiting group. All camps provide access for all abilities.
