Melbourne Sports Training Coordination Centre

Victoria offers a superb range of world class sports training facilities. Melbourne is home to the internationally acclaimed Victorian Institute of Sport and leads Australia in sports medicine, science, psychology and biomechanics.

The Melbourne Sports Training Coordination Centre was established on the advice of the Victorian Olympic 2000 Steering Committee to encourage overseas athletes and teams to train and acclimatise in Victoria prior to the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and beyond.
