The Office of Senior Victorians works to improve the quality of life for senior Victorians. These improvements are achieved through developing government policy, implementing initiatives to promote the wellbeing and participation of older Victorians, and working to raise awareness about the contribution senior Victorians make to our community. Seniors Card

The Seniors Card is available to permanent residents of Victoria aged 60 years and over who are retired or not working more than 35 hours per week. Apply for a Seniors Card.

Veterans Victoria commemorates, honours and supports veterans in Victoria through promoting understanding of the service tendered by veterans in war and peace. Sport and Recreation Victoria provides greater participation opportunities for Victorians of all ages and abilities. This is achieved by improving the quality of community and international sport and recreation facilities, strengthening the capacity of sport and recreation organisations, supporting world-class sporting events and reinforcing the role that sport and recreation plays in building stronger communities. The Department of Planning and Community Development administers grants based on three features of strong communities: planning, strengthening communities and building community infrastructure. many of these grants are available to community organisations. Aboriginal Affairs Victoria

Aboriginal Affairs Victoria is the Victorian Government's central point of advice on Aboriginal affairs. It promotes knowledge and understanding about Victoria's Aboriginal people within the wider community, and also administers legislation that protects Aboriginal cultural heritage in Victoria. Victorian Multicultural Commission

Victoria is one of the most culturally diverse and harmonious societies in the world. The Victorian Multicultural Commission provides the Government with independent and responsive advice, and promotes the participation of Victorians, regardless of their ethnicity, culture and religious background, in building a successful future for us all. On 1 May 2007 the Victorian Office of Multicultural Affairs (VOMA) was merged into the Victorian Multicultural Commission, creating a single entity devoted to multicultural affairs in Victoria.
