Drug and alcohol-free entertainment and events

FReeZA provides safe and secure cultural events in a drug and alcohol-free environment. These events are held in local venues across metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria. Grants and funding

The Department of Planning and Community Development administers grants based on three features of strong communities: planning, strengthening communities and building community infrastructure. Young people may be eligible for a number of these grants. Visit Grants@DPCD to find out more.

FReeZACentral is the Government’s initiative to help young people to establish themselves in the music industry. Aboriginal Affairs Victoria

Aboriginal Affairs Victoria is the Victorian Government's central point of advice on Aboriginal affairs including issues affecting Indigenous young people. Aboriginal Affairs Victoria promotes knowledge and understanding about Victoria's Aboriginal people within the wider community, and also administers legislation that protects Aboriginal cultural heritage in Victoria. Sport and recreation

Sport and Recreation Victoria provides greater participation opportunities for all Victorians including young people. This is achieved by improving the quality of community and international sport and recreation facilities, strengthening the capacity of sport and recreation organisations, supporting world-class sporting events and reinforcing the role that sport and recreation plays in building stronger communities.
